Our Annual membership fee is £17 from October 1st to 30th September.
There is no reduction for joining partway through the year.
However members who join after July 1st 2026 will have extended membership until 30th September 2027.
If you are a current member of another u3a you can apply for Associate membership and the fee is reduced by £4. To be eligible you must provide proof that you are a current paid up member of another u3a.

As a member you can join as many Interest Groups as you want. You can also attend our monthly Open Meeting talks and Social Events.

Terms and Conditions of Membership
All members must:
Abide by the Principles of the u3a movement.
Always act in the best interests of the u3a and never do anything to bring the u3a into disrepute.
Abide by the terms and conditions of the constitution. (Available on the website)
Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times.
Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee.
Advise the committee of any change in your personal details.
I apply for membership of PR&D u3a and confirm that I will abide by the terms of membership as stated above.
I confirm that I am no longer in full time employment and agree to abide by the association’s constitution.
I will indicate as appropriate if I do not consent to my image being used in group photographs, videos or publicity for the u3a.
If applicable, I will make efforts to absent myself when possible from such situations.
I confirm that I have completed the form myself.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
Prestatyn, Rhyl & District u3a requires members to provide their personal information so that you can be kept informed about events and activities that are offered as part of your membership. In collecting your information Prestatyn, Rhyl & District u3a will:
- Store it securely
- Use it to communicate with you as a u3a member.
- Share your information with group leaders for those groups that you are a member of.
- Send you general information about the Third Age Trust - the national office to which all u3as are affiliated.
- Third Age Trust magazine – u3a Matters (formerly known as TAM) If you decide to subscribe to magazines your details will be added to the Trust's direct mailing list and shared with the company who oversee the distribution of the Trust Magazines.
- Please be advised that you can request for your data not to be used for the direct postal mailing of Third Age Trust magazines at any time by contacting a member of the Committee.
