This Group is run by Marilyn Davies (you can contact Marilyn by clicking on her name above.)
Meeting every Wednesday morning 10.30-12.00 during school terms at Rhuddlan Community Centre (link above).

The group is of Intermediate level, with quite a range of knowledge and fluency. The starting point for each session is conversation, with each member being given the opportunity to contribute. This often leads to questions. Marilyn offers corrections and suggestions as needed.
The second part of the session (after a coffee break) centers on different topics with accompanying worksheets. These may relate to current affairs such as political events in France or topical subjects such as celebrating Christmas or the New Year. Where language questions have arisen, vocabulary or grammar, these are addressed and often provide the focus for the following week. The members read aloud and answer questions individually or in groups. Crosswords, quizzes or word searches provide light relief. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and everyone is able to ask for explanations when needed.
The group is currently at capacity.
This Group is not suitable for complete beginners. There are limits on the number of places available, due to space constraints - if the group is full at the time of your enquiry, we will put your name on the waiting list, and contact you when space is available.
