The teacher is Cathie, a retired languages teacher. We are very relaxed about our learning and cover a very wide range of topics, with plenty of time for friendly chat as well. This year we have watched several French language films (with English subtitles to help us along!), and we have been looking at the fairy story "Little Red Riding Hood" in French. We have also looked at a variety of articles from French newspapers and magazines, including a piece written several years ago in the form of a discussion between a group of French people, debating the pros and cons of immigration into France - still very topical, for England as well.

This Group is not suitable for complete beginners. There are limits on the number of places available, due to space constraints - if the group is full at the time of your enquiry, we will put your name on the waiting list, and contact you when space is available.
