A group set up for those who love all sorts of Theatre and Cinema! The Group Leaders, Glenys Roberts and Pat Pugh, will make suggestions for shows but are happy to receive suggestions from any member as to what they would like to see! 

Theatre visits

Shows will predominantly be in the theatres at Rhyl, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Denbigh and Mold but in time we may extend to Manchester and Liverpool. Where possible we will try to attend matinees, especially if there is a distance to travel, however, this will depend on performance availability at the venue. 
Theatre performances will be advertised via email to ALL MEMBERS and at Open Meetings. Members need only respond to these emails if they wish to attend. Attendees must be members of Prestatyn, Rhyl and District u3a. 

Cinema visits (generally Scala, Prestatyn)

There is a "Whatsapp" group for members to advertise films they would like to see. This way members can be connected, so if only 2 or 3 people are interested in a particular film, they can arrange to go together. If you would like to join the "Whatsapp" group, please contact Glenys ( glenu3a@gmail.com) who will send you the necessary link. If large numbers of people want to go to the same film, Pat and Glen are happy to organise.

Information to note!

All shows, whether Theatre or Cinema must be paid for before the purchase of tickets. The Group Leaders are unable to accept cancellations after tickets have been purchased and it will be up to the individual to “sell their ticket”. We do not intend to organise transport to any venue at this time.
